Bookworm Box Donation
This month Literacy for Incarcerated Teens/LIT received a much appreciated $30,000 donation from The Bookworm Box, a non-profit organization based in Sulphur Springs, TX.
The Bookworm Box is a one-of-a-kind monthly book subscription service founded by the Texas-born, best-selling YA author Colleen Hoover.
Hoover’s mission in starting The Bookworm Box was to promote rising artists and sell their books by subscription worldwide, the profits going to causes that make a difference.
The Bookworm Box has aided more than 400 charities, promoted over 500 authors, and donated more than $1.3 million to non-profit organizations.
We are delighted that The Bookworm Box has now decided to honor Literacy for Incarcerated Teens/LIT for our work promoting literacy and reading among detained youth.
Thank you Bookworm Box!
