Author visit by Lauren Oliver
Last week, LIT sponsored an author visit by Lauren Oliver, author of the recently-released Panic, at Columbia Girls facility, a secure facility for girls charged as adults located in Claverack, NY. Lauren talked about her writing process and then did a poetry exercise with the girls. According to the English teacher, “by the end of the lecture we knew Ms. Oliver needed to come back.” We were so happy to host Lauren’s visit! You can follow Lauren on Twitter @OliverBooks.
